What happens after I send a brief?
A senior engineer reads it and replies within one working day — usually with a few questions and a first view on approach. If it looks like a fit, we book a 30-minute call, then send a written proposal with scope, milestones, team and a GBP estimate.
Do I need a detailed specification first?
No. A few sentences about the problem, the people who will use the software and any deadline is enough to start. Turning an idea into a scope you can trust is what the discovery sprint is for.
Who will I be contracting with?
Techsleight Labs is a trading name of Krapton IT Consultancy, a UK company. Your contract, invoices and data processing terms are with Krapton IT Consultancy.
Where are your developers based?
Our engineers are based in the UK and India, directly employed rather than subcontracted, and work to UK business hours with overlap for meetings.
How much does it cost to work with you?
Flexible hourly work starts from £20 an hour (£25 for specialist DevOps, data and machine-learning work). Dedicated developers start from £2,900 a month, a discovery sprint from £2,000, and fixed-price projects are quoted once scope is agreed after discovery.
How quickly can you start?
Most engagements start within 5–7 working days of sign-off. If you have a hard deadline, put it in your brief and we will tell you honestly whether it is realistic.
Will you sign an NDA?
Yes. We are happy to sign your NDA, or to provide ours, before any detailed discussion about your product or data.
Who owns the code and intellectual property?
You do. The code, designs, documentation and infrastructure accounts created for your project belong to you from day one, and you can take them in-house or to another supplier at any time.
How do you handle data protection?
We work to UK GDPR: a data processing agreement where we handle personal data on your behalf, least-privilege access to your systems, and secure handling of credentials and environments. Your DPO keeps compliance sign-off.
